Manifestations

Made for Illustration Thesis Fall 2025. 

"Manifestations" is a multimedia series of works done in response to poetry I’ve written, that has been assembled together in a digital space. I’m explaining the things that are often left unsaid in my life but weigh on me heavily and influence my artmaking and writing. The mini-topics I’ve focused on are all different parts of me, and have affected who I am today. My OCD, my struggle with relationships, my journey through learning to live with my chronic illness, and my loss of childhood have drastically changed me. It has made my early adulthood into one of the toughest points of my life, but also has defined my character. By exploring these parts of myself and sharing them, I hope to take some of the weight off of my chest and also affect others in some way. Whether it be because they emphathize with my art or it just brings them a greater understanding of the topics.
